Assembly House Annual Exhibition
Assembly house annual exhibition held on 12/10/2024 - 13/10/2024 at, 3 Sheaf St, Leeds LS10 1HD, United Kingdom. Featured 30 artists from assembly house studio in this exhibition. The works included paintings, sculptures, prints, installations, performances and many more. Each poece reflected the uniquw style and voice of each artists. The exhibition started off with a performance art by one of the studio artist followed by, we had exhibition viewing, discussions and interactions among artists and visitors. We had music and dance throughout the night making the space more engaging and allowing people to connect through art.
For this group exhibition, I chose to exhibit one of my painting called, Rays Of Renewal. It is an acrylic painting(90x120cms). The work express the natural, calming and healing energy of mother nature. I aimed to express the feeling and portray how nature helped me heal and move through difficulties in my life. I was happy that the message was conveyed and audience had a similar feeling with this piece.
Overall this exhibition was a beautiful way to connect with fellow artists and other people and also to get a wider perspective on art and life.
