Rooted In Oneness is one of my favourite paintings, which shows a powerful connection between humans and nature, reminding us that we are not mearly connected to the earth but are an inseparable part of it. The whole universe lives within us. The painting was deeply inspired by an experience of taking mushrooms, which opened a doorway to this heightened awareness and connection. Scattered throughout the scene are mushrooms, their presence connected to the vast, unseen mycelium network beneath the surface, symbolizing nature's intelligence and the intricate web that links all living things. Humanly figures both masculine and feminine energy subtly emerging from its trunk, blending into the natural form. The roots of the tree grow like veins spreading across the earth, symbolizing the life force that flows between us and the planet. Eyes are hidden where roots meet the ground, reminding us of the awareness and wisdom watching over this connection.
